Alumni work showcasedAn exhibition showcasing the work of 11 Artists and Designers selected from the last 20 years of Norwich University College of the Arts graduates, 'What are you doing now?' is the first time NUCA has hosted an alumni-only show at The Gallery. An exciting and unique show includes painting, sculpture, illustration, animation, graphic design, publishing, photography and textiles.
The selection panel for the exhibition consisted of course and subject leaders at the University College from the Schools of Art, Design and Media and was an opportunity for academic members of staff to invite their former students back to The Gallery to exhibit their work and to bring it to the attention of current students. Professor John Last, NUCA Principal, comments: "'What are you doing now?' is a celebration of our graduates' successes and the knowledge of our core academic staff across the disciplines of Art, Design and Media. We often remind ourselves that we have as much academic expertise at NUCA as a major national museum has among its curatorial staff. We are delighted to be using that knowledge for this exhibition, designed to continue the links between our distinguished alumni and our current students and showcase their national work and influence."
