Norwich University College of the Arts (NUCA) principal Professor John Last has released the following statement in response to the publication of the Browne review into higher education funding on Tuesday (12th October): "The recommendations in the Browne Review and the outcome of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) will have a fundamental effect on the current structure of fees and funding for the University sector. "We have had unprecedented demand for places this year. We are confident that the quality and depth of our offering at NUCA, our reputation for excellence and secure financial position will stand us in very good stead for continued success in the future. We remain committed to ensuring that the most talented students from all backgrounds are able to study at NUCA. "As the detailed implications of the CSR and the Browne Review unfold, we will be looking at the most appropriate funding structure for NUCA going forward to ensure our future quality and continued success." |
