MA FINE ART

The MA Fine Art* builds on expertise within the University College to provide taught postgraduate students with the opportunity to engage in specialist study within the context of contemporary fine art practice at Masters level.

The course supports studio practice, research and contextual study along with the development of your business and professional skills. You will be taught by a range of subject experts augmented by visiting professional practitioners from the world of contemporary art.

The course encompasses the acquisition of specialist conceptual and technical skills and knowledge required for the professional practitioner to pursue a career in the wider creative and cultural industries.

Depending on your area of chosen specialism, the course supports the following areas of practice and theory: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, exhibition and curation.

The course is geared towards those who wish to further develop their skills as well as established practitioners with an existing practice. The course is also suitable for applicants wishing to explore broader themes in relation to contemporary and historical models of fine art.
