MA MOVING IMAGE AND SOUND
The MA Moving Image and Sound* builds on specialist expertise within the University College and provides taught postgraduate students with the opportunity to engage in specialist study within the context of contemporary moving image and sound at Masters level.
The course supports studio practice, research and contextual study along with the development of your business and professional skills. You will be taught by a range of subject experts augmented by visiting professional practitioners from the creative and cultural industries.
The course encompasses the acquisition of specialist conceptual and technical skills and knowledge required for the professional practitioner to pursue a career in the audio-visual and creative industries.
Depending on your area of chosen specialism, the course enables you to engage with the following areas of practice and theory: audio-visual production, film, motion graphics, traditional and CGI 2D and 3D animation, character and asset development for games, scripting and narrative and pre- and post-production.
The course is geared towards those who wish to further develop their skills as well as established practitioners with an existing practice. The course is also suitable for applicants wishing to explore broader themes in contemporary moving image and sound for film and video, digital arts, games art and design, as well as animation and sound.
