COURSE LEADER
The BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree course at Norwich has proved phenomenally successful because of its cornerstone belief in the development of ideas, it covers areas such as corporate identity, branding, publicity, packaging and editorial design,
Students acquire essential practical skills through workshop based projects and develop theoretical and intellectual competences that strengthen their creative decision-making. Students evolve a considered context to their interests and creative development.
LEVEL ONE
The course commences with an introduction to Graphic Design working alongside students from other disciplines. This multi-disciplinarily exposure provides a unique insight into a range of design specialisms. Level One’s general period of study rates highly with students.
LEVEL TWO
Level Two focuses on the provision of the Graphic Design skills and methods required to excel. Study is largely hands-on and project based. Students may undertake creative partnerships with other courses, try their hands on a brief from a demanding real world client or take on an assignment in a commercial studio.
LEVEL THREE
Students complete a dissertation into a topic that captures their graphic imagination. They then focus on becoming viable industry-ready graduates bursting with original talent, pertinent ideas and the relevant skills to deliver them. To assist them, students are introduced to aspects of business and professional studies.

Former students hold positions in many leading design groups in the industry; our graduates find their NUCA credentials very attractive to potential employers.
Students who successfully complete their undergraduate studies are able to progress to a range of MA courses within NUCA.
