International Postgraduate FAQ

What are the fees?

£9,750 full-time.

Students from the Channel Islands or Isle of Man will be charged £7,312 per year full time, or £3,656 per year part time.

Do I need a Visa?

Please read Visa Information and check the UKCISA website.  If you have any questions about your status please contact Academic Registry by emailing registry@nuca.ac.uk.

Can I study part-time?

You will not get a Visa to do a part-time course. Therefore international students living in the UK can only enrol for a full-time course.

Is it possible to get funding?

We offer a limited number of scholarships to international students of up to £2,000 per year of full-time study. All international students are eligible for consideration based on the quality of their application and portfolio.  For further information please contact us at international@nuca.ac.uk.

What qualifications do I need?

The equivalent of a UK BA (Hons) degree and an IELTS score of 6.0 or above, or equivalent. Please contact UK NARIC for details on how your qualifications compare to those offered in the UK. You can email them at info@naric.org.uk or visit their website at www.naric.org.uk.

How do I apply?

Application forms should be sent directly to Academic Registry, Norwich University College of the Arts, Francis House, 3-7 Redwell Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 4SN, UK.

What documents are required for application?

A completed application form, copies of your most recent qualifications, IELTS certificate, a reference and a photocopy of the relevant section of your passport (with your photograph and personal information).

What is the deadline for applications?

1st August, although applications can be accepted after that date. Students need to allow this amount of time to ensure they receive their Visa in time to start the course.

What accommodation is available?

Students may choose to apply for a place at Nicholas Mews, which consists of seven University College owned purpose built houses.  All rooms are fully furnished single bedrooms grouped around shared facilities and are within easy access of the University College. Rents for 2010/11 range from £83 to £90 per week including bills. Priority is given to international students and those with medical or disability issues.

There is also an ample supply of reasonably priced accommodation in Norwich, including rooms, flats and houses rented from private landlords. Our Student Support Team are happy to help students find rented accommodation. Additional information can be found here.
