International Undergraduate FAQ
What are the fees?
£9,250 per year for students in Years 1, 2 and 3. £8,750 per year for students in Year 0.
Students from the Channel Islands or Isle of Man will be charged £7,312 per year.
Do I need a Visa?
Please read Visa Information and check the UKCISA website. If you have any questions about your status please contact Academic Registry by emailing registry@nuca.ac.uk.
Is it possible to get funding?
We offer a limited amount of scholarships to international students of up to £2,000 per year of study for full time students only. All international students are eligible for consideration based on the quality of their application and portfolio. For further information please contact international recruitment on international@nuca.ac.uk.
What qualifications do I need?
The equivalent of 200 UCAS tariff points and an IELTS score of 6.0 or above, or equivalent. Please contact UK NARIC for details on how your qualifications compare to those offered in the UK. You can email them at info@naric.org.uk or visit their website at www.naric.org.uk.
Can I study part-time?
Our undergraduate courses are only available on a full-time basis.
How do I apply?
Applications should be made via UCAS at www.ucas.com.
What documents are required for application?
A completed application form sent via UCAS (including a reference), copies of your most recent qualifications, IELTS certificate and a photocopy of the relevant section of your passport (with your photograph and personal information).
What is the deadline for applications?
The deadline for on time applications was the 15th January 2010. Late applications may be accepted via UCAS subject to availability.
What accommodation is available?
We offer a range of self-catered accommodation for students, both in Halls of Residence and purpose built fully furnished student houses, all of which are within easy access of the University College. All rooms are furnished single bedrooms grouped around shared facilities. Rents for 2010/11 range from £83 to £104 per week, including bills and priority is given to international students.
Alternatively Norwich has an ample supply of reasonably priced, privately rented accommodation , including rooms, flats and houses. Our Student Support Team are happy to help students find rented accommodation.

Do I get a studio space?
All students are allocated a studio to work in.
When would I expect to be in?
We recommend that students attend University College each day even if they do not have specific timetabled sessions.
