Accommodation

UNIVERSITY MANAGED ACCOMMODATION

We offer a range of self-catering accommodation for students, both in Halls of Residence and purpose built fully finished student houses, all of which are within easy access of the College. All rooms are furnished single bedrooms grouped around shared facilities. Rents for 2008/09 ranged between £74 and £98 a week.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a place in our accommodation for all first year students. However, our allocation procedure prioritises international students.

PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION

There is an ample supply of reasonably priced accommodation in Norwich, this includes rooms, flats and houses rented from private landlords. Our Student Support team are happy to help students find rented accommodation and provide guidance and advice on issues such as:

  • A weekly updated list of house/flat share accommodation with other students
  • A brochure ‘Living in the Community’ produced in collaboration with the University of East Anglia and City College Norwich
  • Help and advice on tenancy agreements, disputes and deposits, maintenance and repairs and approved agents and landlords
